Understanding life

You will be the same person you are today in five years except for the people you meet and the books you read.

Everybody needs a life teacher, if you look at your neighbor and see them struggling on the basics of life why would you model yourself after them? If someone barely pays the bills why try to imitate them?

The truth is life is hard and constantly changing so we need to be constantly learning to stay relevant. If your constantly reading petty stuff on Facebook then your life will be petty; if your reading books on how to handle money and how to be happy then your learning how to become smarter.

We are all unique and have our own talents but we try to force ourselves into jobs that make no sense; how is the shy kid going to become a lawyer? How is the guy with shaky hands going to become a doctor? We kill our dreams and try to force ourselves to fit in other people’s lives; it’s like trying to take a square and put it in a circle hole: try all you want it won’t work, your going to break yourself first.

The point is we are all unique, watch seminars on people who inspire you to be better and chase your dreams. Becoming rich and famous is not about money or attention, if you seek this you will fail. Instead seek what makes you tick and find your own passions and dreams and money and attention will seek you.

If you tell yourself your not special then your taking the negative mindset and making it yours. The worst thing you can tell a kid is to not chase their dreams; why would you want them to end up like you?
